The Grounds

One of the things we are most proud of at the Crooked Oak are the beautiful grounds that surround our Inn. Our groundskeeper, Ron Mitchell, has been manicuring the property for the last few years and he has done an impeccable job. Ron has carved out several walking trails for our guests to follow all starting from (or near) the stone patio. We have also added some unique and rustic elements, like a bench made of wood from the Crooked Oak that was once the centerpiece of our stone patio, metal sculptures hand crafted by local artisans, and even a hand-made hammock to relax and enjoy the afternoon.

Anywhere you see a chair, bench, or other seat on the property is the perfect place for you to sit, relax, and enjoy the view. We have sitting areas on all the decks and balconies, on our spacious porch, and throughout the property. During spring, summer, and fall we have the gardens and stone patio loaded with beautiful flowers, plants, and herbs for your sensory pleasure!

Below are several photos of the property. Feel free to browse, and if you have been to the Inn and taken a great picture, please send it our way. We love to add guest photos to our collection!
